harry potter and the half blood prince.

i couldn't comment back to her because my responce was so long. so open this blog too, so you can know what i was saying:

i'll give you my responses to your comments. just because i want to. i saw the movie three times, re-read the book after the first time i saw it. one time was a midnight =D

negatives:

1) i know there was a fight scene, but in the book, we only really hear about it. i mean, harry runs past a couple people fighting, but it wasn't a hard-core fight scene like in the 5th book (when hagrid ran away and mcgonagall was stunned like 7 times at once) and we really only hear hermione and ron recount it to harry. to include a fight scene would have had to include harry giving ron, hermione and ginny his felix felices, we'd have had to see bill and fleur and learned more about the werewolf who's name i can't remember. faramir. i mean, i'd rather skip it in general than be pissed that they didn't include all of it and just showed something dinky.
2) i agree with you on this one. i mean, it agreed with the book with the steps they took and stuff, but the emotion that i felt just wasn't there. (i was going to say "well, snape did say "i'm not a coward", just earlier in the film" but that doesn't really count..at least they included his want of not being called a coward?)
3) HARRY AND GINNY'S KISS WAS SO STUPID! "i can hide in here too if you want" WHAT THE FUCK. no. no. no. that made me so angry. what the fuck are they going to do when the end of the 2nd 7th movie comes and harry has to remember the crown that he never saw? are they going to make ginny find it or something? they destroyed the future!
4) i read somewhere that they only skipped 2 memories, both gaunts. not true, they skipped another one but i can't remember it. =/ ..if only i could remember. oh well.
5) seriously. this girl's blog (haley g hoover) i read was like "draco malfoy and the vanishing cabinet was a good movie..oh i mean harry potter and the half-blood prince" seriously, they did not show harry's obsession with the book good enough, or his obsession with draco.
6) they had to cut shit out so they could add that?! no. and why did they have to change the burrow? i loved it the way it was in the 2nd movie. it was cozy and not stupidly tall. and not surrounded by wheat fields. there's supposed to be a nice garden. so stupid. =(
7) harry not kissing ginny in front of people lead to that really awkward part where hermione has to randomly say "ron's ok with it, you know, you and ginny". and harry not being immobilized makes me look like a coward. HARRY POTTER would not ever just stand there. no matter what dumbledore said. i guess they just wanted to show harry and dumbledore's relationship, but that is not a good way. i am upset. they could have at least immobilized him under the tower so we could see him want to break free but couldn't or something. they didn't NEED the invisibility cloak, but the did need him immobilized. it makes him look cowardice and lame.

positives:

1: felix felices was definitely my favorite part. all the lines you said were amazing. i can't remember "all hands on deck, granger!" but oh well.
the nice skin part was so awkward! ron and harry, two best friends, should not have been that awkward. but i loved it. it added to the humor.
2: slughorn's body was not how i wanted it, but the actor showed how creepy he was with collecting. also, his inner turmoil about the memory about horcruxes. brilliant.
3: that part was SO CUTE. i have always been a ron/hermione shipper and this movie really excelled. i know hermione wasn't supposed to out right say it to harry about her love for ron, but it was just too amazing, i don't care.
4: she was good. ..idk, it didn't really stick out to me. she was pretty amazing, just not that important while i was watching it.. =/
5: yes
6: loved it. loved it. loved it. EXCEPT they didn't tell harry he could take whatever because harry never really gave them the money which upset me. how the fuck did they start that with out any money? no idea.

what i wanted you to mention was tom felton's superb acting. he really showed draco in this movie. draco was hurt, confused, scared, troubled, and a whole bunch of other adjectives. tom's performance was a-rate. and i still can't get over it. he really has grown as an actor.

i'd probably give it a 4-4.5/5
it already is one of my favorites. =D
